icu!

i got new glasses this past weekend. it turns out that my eyes actually did get worse. not by much but enough to cause seeing problems. the world looks so much clearer! i was blind but now i see! no more squinting! hurray! i have no excuse not to say hi to people anymore. i used to “ignore” them because i couldn’t see their faces. do you ever do that? i do that on purpose sometimes but most of the time, it’s because i really can’t see your face. i admit my glasses are kind of dorky looking but i like them. when i picked them out, my mom told me i that look weird cause half of my face is covered by these glasses & she told me that i look like a nerd. that made me want to get it even more! i asked the lady if she thought i looked like a nerd too but she insisted that i get it since these frames are “in” these days which made me want to pick out another pair. but i didn’t! i’m wearing them right now and they’re kind of dizzing. i hope my eyes will adjust to them soon.
